Elopement, noun

A simple yet significant affair; a wedding centred on the intimacy of a marriage rather than the grandeur and social nature of a traditional wedding.

An elopement may be witnessed by no one at all, or by a small circle of people you would willingly invite into life's most intimate moments: a birthing suite, a hospital room, around the kitchen table, or beside you when something wonderful happens.

Defined not by running away, secrecy, spontaneity or the number of guests, but by intention. An elopement strips away the performance of a wedding and leaves behind what matters most: two people, creating not just any marriage, but THEIR marriage, with the people who truly belong in that moment.
